Oh yes, I can imagine that it takes time to do. If it matters, making the 2 optional songs would be the smartest to do as those 2 are not required and most of us who won’t get an A there won’t keep trying. But with your guide… we could! Thanks again! 🙏🏼

Thanks! and yeah, the arrows are just a better visual for me personally, which is why I made the video as it helps me and I am sure it helps others visualize it easier as well.

awww sorry to hear that. I know this guide won't help everyone since it all comes down to visual preference. Other advice I can give is increase note speed if that helps you out. And there is input system (forgot the proper name for it) where that pressing a direction counts for that direction and the two next to it. Ex, pressing up counts for upper left, up, and upper right.

Yeah. It was a fun run. Just the run is way too long that I don't think I could go through it again with all of the games coming out so fast. No time for long sessions anymore.

@Brixgale so it looks like DDR style. I can't find that in the settings. Or did you just and that to the video.

@@jacobb3577 oh this is something I edited into the video. Sadly not part of the game. So the goal of the video is just to try the align the video with your game so you can just try playing by watching the video rather than looking at your game. may take a few tries to line up, but luckily it is easy to reset since we have the countdown at the start.

lol keep at it. I am sure you can get it. Otherwise, just move on and come back to it later if it is ruining your enjoyment of the game. Even if I could, I would assume the latency difference with the shareplay would be just enough for this not to work well.

@@Brixgale I’m trying I’m making my girl hold the other side of the controller so we can focus on just one side but god damn the piano and 3d brawler are the worst for me 😂 but if you wanna share play I’m legit down to try it I rather do like 10 rulers and like 10 more bonds of friendships instead of theses 😂😂😂

@@jonathandefalco6230 for the 3d brawler, you can try pausing to try to see what type of punch they are doing. Just make sure to immediately react after unpausing.

congrats! I am gonna be honest that I am unsure if I will do other guides since other songs haven't been as hard for me, but the person I linked in the description has done guides for the other songs!

@@Pjust203 are you talking about "Let the Battles Begin!"? I wasn't planning on making one but I can, just may take a week or two to make one though. I am pretty close to finishing first playthrough of Rebirth so been fully focused on that lol.

Thanks! I wouldn't say world record since I am like the only console runner. If you like the Rena runs, I recommend Danjuro. I would say he is the current world record holder for fastest Universe and Chaos mode Rena runs. He also does some challenges such as a Chaos mode no bloody armor. Only issue is since everything is Japanese, could be difficult to understand what is happening.

Yes. I tested it. You only need the A rank. I was trying to get perfect scores on all six. I managed to get that on all except for this one.

Sorry to hear that. I also couldn't process what the game wants and that is why I made a guide that helped me. Sorry it didn't help you out. Maybe you can increase the note speed to spread the notes out more. You only need an A rank in terms of getting everything.

@@Brixgale I have only broke 16,000 with it. I am getting better at the parts where the notes are spread across both. I am just starting to hear the full song before making a mistake now. The main thing holding me back is that ‘round the whole joystick’ thing that happens twice on the right. The timing of those is all different. I’ve had to rewatch some parts to get better. Muting doesn’t help. Playing on 2 does, but 3 and 4 are too fast for me. This is a practice makes perfect thing. I did drop it, first piano piece I’ve said I’ll come back to this I want to keep playing the game. A shame as I had no trouble previously. I thought I was decently good at it to be honest.

@@mixanblend So for the whole round the whole joystick timing, the timing is actually the same. The thing that may be throwing you off (since it threw me off for a bit) is that it isn't a true round the whole joystick. So starting with the UP it goes, UP, RIGHT, UPPER RIGHT, UP, THEN LEFT then it continues clockwise. There is no upper left, which can throw off the timing. This threw me off for awhile.

@@Brixgale So this is what I suspected. I noticed that UP seemed to come out first, but then my eyes would move RIGHT and I’d see RIGHT reach the edge and go for that which would fail, then I’d try to do UP thinking it had to be next and I just hadn’t seen RIGHT come out first, which would also fail, and maybe I’d recover to get the second half of the notes right but no consistency. I’m actually better presently at the part after the first part with all the in-between notes on the left. I’ve put in a lot of practice already but that round the world one would catch me by surprise and then I couldn’t get the hang of it. Nailing both of those will probably give me A rank finally. Thank you. I would have eventually looked at this frame by frame if I had to lol. This should definitely get me over the line!

@@Brixgale Finally got it! I stopped trying for a while, gave it a couple of tries whenever I was near a piano but sat down in Chapter 12 and got it in maybe 5 tries? I beat my PB of 16300 with 16600 and knew it wasn't going to take much more. Next run was feeling good, cleared it with 17580. Whew.

Hi! So actually read a comment somewhere else that might be the answer for this. Supposedly, it is based on your region and language you are playing the game in. Star and S rank are the same, but which one gets displayed is based on language of the game. Not 100% sure but read a comment that said this.

The problem is that the timings to press the notes dont match up with the rhythm. They really messed this one up.

Highly agree. I understand they only made the requirement rank A for stuff, but still ridiculous to expect this song to be fair without some form of practice mode or note viewer. The fact that I had to make a guide just for me to clear it for myself is a bit overkill.

which dialogue did I skip? I've been letting the dialogue play out. If you have been jumping around parts and not actually watching, then you probably are skipping to parts that I have played through already and got game overed. No point in letting the dialogue play again if it was played earlier already in the video.

there is also a lot of down time so his transformation could get wasted too unfortunately. he probably feels slow since his burst window is missable due to the down time in a lot of the phase transitions.
